No copies. No repeats. Ever. Just you — in gemstone form.
About Us
Hi, I'm Brittany — designer, gem obsessed, and the only person behind every Flax & Fancy piece you'll ever hold.
I've been drawn to crystals and gemstones my entire life. Not in a passing phase kind of way — in a I-can't-stop-collecting-them, I-can-feel-the-difference-between-stones kind of way. Every single piece I make is built by my hands, start to finish. I select each stone individually — for its color, its character, its energy. I don't work from molds. I don't repeat designs. I don't do mass production. What you get from Flax & Fancy is unrepeatable. Literally. Once a piece is gone, it's gone — because the exact combination of stones, wire, and intention that made it will never exist again. That's not a marketing line. That's just the truth of how I work.
I believe the jewelry you wear every day should feel chosen, not just purchased. Whether you're drawn to the transformative pull of labradorite, the fierce protection of malachite, or a color combination that just stops you in your tracks — your piece was made with that pull in mind.
What makes Flax & Fancy different? Every gemstone is genuine, natural, and handpicked by me. Every piece is one-of-a-kind — the same design will never be made twice. Custom orders are my specialty — I build pieces from your vision, your stones, your story. Every order arrives beautifully packaged, ready to wear or gift. I'm always reachable — this is a one-woman show and I take that personally.
Based in Florida, I’ve been creating jewelry for over five years. What began as a creative outlet during the pandemic quickly grew into something much more — a business built around creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces that help women express who they are and how they feel.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me adding to my ever-growing crystal collection, chasing new adventures, spending time with my goldendoodle, Ruby Jade, or finding any excuse to enjoy something sweet. Flax & Fancy is a little piece of my creativity, heart, and love for beautiful things — and I’m so glad you’re here!
